Eumimesis decoratus ( Fuchs, 1955) View in CoL , new combination
( Fig. 15 View FIGURES 13 – 18 )
Hemicladus decoratus Fuchs View in CoL : 51. Holotype (male) in collection E. Fuchs, now in coll. Herbert Schmid (Wien, Austria). Gilmour, 1965: 647 (Catalogue); Galileo & Martins, 1991: 249 (Key); Monné & Giesbert, 1994: 299 (Catalogue); Monné, 1995: 81 (Catalogue); Monné, 2005: 330 (Catalogue); Monné & Hovore, 2006: 233 (Catalogue); Wappes et al., 2006: 42 (Distribution). Type locality: BOLIVIA (Buena Vista): Ichilo, 12 may 1950. Distribution: Bolivia.
This species clearly belongs to the genus Eumimesis Bates View in CoL because of the structure of the antennae, having only antennomeres 5 and 6 flattened into a lamella, the 4th slightly and regularly enlarged and the 7th not flattened. It also can be recognised by the white stripes and patches of pubescence on the elytra and the pronotum.
