Material examined. INDIA: Holotype ♂ ( Bolanus baeticus Distant ), Northern Assam ( BMNH).
Remarks. The unique type of S. baeticus (BMNH) remains of uncertain identity as its abdomen is missing, the abdomen was originally stated as being “mutilated”. It differs from other similar species in having the transverse band on the vertex dark brown rather than orange, the dark brown transverse bands on the face coalescing to form an irregular triangular-shaped spot, the area below each antenna dark brown and the pronotum without orange markings.
