Diagnosis. Median antenna shorter or equal to lateral antennae; anterior 2–4 pairs of parapodia modified but not enlarged, with pseudocompound falcigers with moderately long to long pointed hoods; limbate chaetae without serration; branchiae with single or pectinate filaments, present only through median chaetigers or absent; postchaetal lobes limited to about ten anterior chaetigers; two pairs of anal cirri; maxillae VI absent.
