Distribution. Recorded at 100–1500 m. Tropical northwest, tropical southwest, subtropical west, tropical east.

Locality Data. 26 specimens examined from QCAZ and USNM. Additional records from Machatschke (1972) and Jameson (1998a): Bolívar (2): Balzapamba, Chimbo. Cotopaxi (17): Guasaganda, Las Pampas. Guayas (1): Bucay. Los Ríos (2): Río Palenque, Quevedo. Manabí (1): Río Suma. Pichincha (19): Alluriquín, Puerto Quito, Santo Domingo. Sucumbíos (1): San Pablo (Aguarico).
