Distribution. Recorded from 16– 700 m. Tropical northwest, tropical east.

Locality Data. 125 specimens examined from BCRC, QCAZ, and USNM. Additional records from Machatschke (1972): Esmeraldas (3): La Boca, San Mateo. Guayas (51): Guayaquil. Loja (1): Loja. Morona Santiago (1): Macas. Napo (66): Coca, Hollín­Loreto Río Guataraco, Jatún Sacha, Río Anzú, Río Jatún Yacu , Misahuallí, Pano, Sacha, Talag, Yasuní ( Scientific Station ), No data. Pastaza (2): Río Bobonaza , Sarayacu. Pichincha (1): Aloag­Santo Domingo. Sucumbíos (2): Santa Cecilia. No data (3) .
