Syntype:— SERBIA: Serbia australe, in monte Dugidol, in rupibus, 29 August 1887, J. Bornmüller (B barcode B 10 1154368!).— Current name: Hieracium waldsteinii subsp. suborieni Zahn in Murr et al. (1907: 110) .
Remarks: —Negligible taxon. The assignment of the collections cited in the protologue to the various subvarieties is uncomplete. In the present case, Zahn mentioned the infraspecific taxon on his label.
