Helicopsyche (Feropsyche) guara Holzenthal, Blahnik & Calor

This species was previously recorded for Parque Ecológico Spitzkopf, a small Atlantic Forest area in Santa Catarina state, southern Brazil, and Parque Nacional do Peruaçu, a national park with several limestone caves covered by representative samples of Cerrado biome and seasonal forest, being located in Minas Gerais state, southeastern Brazil. Herein, we record H. (F.) guara for the first time in several Atlantic Forest areas of Rio de Janeiro state.
