Type material (after Nyholm 2000): 9 exx. Holotype ( NZAC, currently NHRS): “ New Zealand AK \ Lynfield \ 10 Aug 1980 \ G. Kuschel”. Paratypes, 2♂ ( NZAC, currently NHRS): AK, Swanson, 14.4.79, G. Kuschel. Paratypes, 4♂, 2♀ ( NHM, currently NHRS): North Island, New Zealand, R.N. Parker ( BMNH).
