T.” [round label with red border], “Christchurch, [red underline] \ New Zealand.”, “Christchurch Wakefiel..” [handwritten], “Sharp Coll \ 1905-313.”, “Lectotype \ Cyphon aequalis \ Sharp \ det. T. Nyholm 1981” [in Nyholm’s hand]. Paralectotype (NHM, here validated): card-mounted, genitalia mounted on glass slide pinned together with the specimen, “ Cyphon aequalis \ Ind. typ. D. S.” [written at base of card in Sharp’s hand], “PARA- \ LECTO- \ TYPE” [round label with blue border], “Christchurch, [red underline] \ New Zealand.”, “Christchurch.” [handwritten], “Sharp Coll \ 1905-313.”, “Paralectotype \ Cyphon aequalis \ Sharp \ det. Remarks. Sharp (1878) noted that the species was found by Wakefield near Christchurch.
