Material examined. 1♂, LepsocAfrica CRG, Staude et al. (2016), M119, Gelechiidae reared on Spirostachys africana , Euphorbiaceae, Casketts farm, South Africa, Limpopo, Hoedspruit, 24˚20’36’’S, 31˚09’07’’E, 12.ii.2013 eclosed (A. & I. Sharp) (gen. slide 30/19, O. Bidzilya) ( HSS).
Biology. The larva was observed feeding on Spirostachys africana (Euphorbiaceae) in late January. Adult emerged 12.ii ( Staude et al. 2016: 65, 66).
Distribution. South Africa ( Meyrick 1918: 18), Kenya ( Meyrick 1920: 106).
