Material examined. 1♀, LepsocAfrica CRG, Staude et al. (2016), M255, Gelechiidae reared on Phyllanthus nummularifolius , Phyllantaceae, Casketts darm, South Africa, Limpopo, Hoedspruit, 24˚20’36’’S, 31˚09’07’’E, 24.iv.2013 eclosed (A. & I. Sharp) (gen. slide 193/20, O. Bidzilya) ( HSS).
Biology. Larvae were observed feeding on Phyllanthus nummularifolius and Ph. reticulatus (Phyllantaceae) in April. Adults emerged 24.iv ( Staude et al. 2016: 67, 68).
Distribution. South Africa ( Meyrick 1913a: 282; Janse 1950: 110).
