Azaleothrips bhattii Vijay Veer & Chauhan, 1990: 65 View in CoL .

This species was described from three females and three males collected in Uttar Pradesh, India. According to the original description, it is close to lepidus View in CoL , and belongs to the amabilis View in CoL group. Moreover, the authors stated that “it differs from lepidus View in CoL in having tibiae and three sensoria on antennal segment III”. However, lepidus View in CoL also have tibiae (as a matter of course) and three sensoria on the third antennal segment. Unfortunately, the present authors could not find out any more available information for specific determination in the original description.
