Chrysis bihamata Spinola, 1838 Plate 5
Chrysis bihamata : Spinola 1838: 450.
Type locality.
"Egypte".
Material.
Lectotype (here designated) ♀. Chrysis bihamata Spin. D. Waltl Égypte.
Paralectotype 1 ♀. idem.
Catalogue Casolari & Casolari Moreno. Chrysis bihamata , 1, 23, 95, 2 (box 51).
Remarks.
There are two syntypes of Chrysis bihamata in the Spinola collection. The first syntype was heavily damaged by a dermestid attack and it is almost unrecognizable. Therefore, we designate the second specimen, currently being in good condition, as lectotype. It is only partially covered by an old mould layer. Chrysis bihamata is the first species described in the Chrysis bihamata group.
Current status.
