Current name: Rosa canina L. View in CoL ( Rosaceae ).

Note: Zieliński made a clear choice of type and he has been followed by most, if not all later authors (see Heath in Taxon 40: 95. 1991; Calyx 2: 129. 1992; but see also rebuttal by Jarvis in Taxon 41: 63. 1992).
