Microlycus collaris Szelényi, 1980: 258 .
Material examined ( HNHM). Holotype (♀): “ MONGOLIA: Bulgan aimak. Sw. Somon Chischig-Öndör und Somon Orchon, 23 km NNO von Somon Chischig-Öndör ” / “ 1390 m. Exp. Dr. Z. KASZAB 1968. Nr. 965 15.VI.- 23.VII.1968 ” / “Hym. Typ. No. 6567 Mus. Budapest.”
Remarks. Szelényi (1980) described this Mongolian species in Microlycus Thomson without explaining its placement. Examination of the holotype reveals that it belongs instead in Necremnus Thomson , based on body shape, antennal segment length, and extent of the ocellar triangle, which are the chief characters mentioned by Bouček (1959) as means of distinguishing these two genera. This species is distinct from other known Necremnus , especially because of the brachyptery of female specimens. Males of this species are unknown, but may be macropterous.
