COLL. / No. 19850’ [printed + handwritten], ‘Pres by / Com Inst Ent / B M 1972-2’ [printed], ‘ Orius (O.) / bifilarus sp. n. / M.S.K. Ghauri det. 1972’ [handwritten + printed] ( BMNH) .

Distribution in India. Punjab: Jalandhar ( GHAURI 1972a); Uttar Pradesh ( VEER 1984).

General distribution. Pakistan ( GHAURI 1972a), China (Hunan, Sichuan, Yunnan) ( ZHENG & BU 1990, BU & ZHENG 2001), Nepal ( PÉRICART 1996).

Biology. The species was found on number of plant species, reported to feed on mites, thrips and aphids, namely Aphis gossypi Glover, 1877 and Thrips flavus Schrank, 1776 ( GHAURI 1972a, VEER 1984).
