Material examined. Penaeid—2 M; size range: 18.81 ≤ CW ≤ 20.59 mm; average: CW = 19.7 ± 1.26 mm; CZUFS CRU- 00228.

Stations. Penaeid—3 and 9.

Distribution. Western Atlantic—USA, Florida, Gulf of Mexico, Antilles, Colombia, Venezuela, Guyana, French Guiana, and Brazil (from Amapá to Bahia) ( Melo 1996; Almeida et al. 2007 a).

Ecological notes. From shallow waters to 130 m. Found usually on mud ( Melo 1996).
