Micropanope sculptipes Stimpson, 1871

Material examined. Penaeid—11 (7 M, 4 F); size range: 2.72 ≤ CW ≤ 4.48 mm; average: CW = 3.52 ± 0.60 mm; CZUFS CRU- 00253.

Stations. Penaeid—3 and 9.

Distribution. Western Atlantic—USA (North and South of Carolina, Florida, and Gulf of Mexico), Antilles, and Brazil (from Amapá to São Paulo) ( Melo 1998).

Ecological notes. On sand, gravel, and coral bottoms, from 10 to 310 m ( Melo 1998).
