Male: Stridulatory file with about 150 teeth, which are rather small and almost equally spaced throughout. Tenth abdominal tergite with apical margin sub-truncate, cerci strongly curved with interno-ventral ridge at apex. Venation in forewings: radius almost always with 4–6 closed parallel posterior branches. Sub-genital plate deeply furrowed with narrow hind notch, bifurcate with contiguous lobes, without styli, split into two parallel lobes in the apical quarter to apical third; internal surface with spinules dorsad. Pro-femur with 3–5 external, 5–6 internal spines; meso-femur with 8–10 external, one internal spine; post-femur 8–11 external, 1–2 internal spines. Pro and meso-tibiae each with 4 apical, meta-tibiae with 6 apical spurs and with the following numbers of spines: pro-tibia with 3–4 external, 4–6 dorso-internal; 10–11ventro-external, 12–13 ventro-internal; meso-tibiae with 7–9 dorsoexternal, 9–11 dorso-internal; posterior tibia on dorsal margins with numerous large spines mixed with small spinules, usually space between 2 large spines filled with 2–4 spinules, spines on ventral margins scarce near base, spaced closely towards apex.
