Type locality: Luzon , Mt Apo
Distribution: Indian records: India. Global records: China ( Taiwan), Java, Myanmar, Nepal, Philippines, South West Africa, Vietnam.
Host: Larvae are polyphagous. They feed on leaves of Mallotus philippensis (Euphorbiaceae) , in bark of Shorea robusta (Dipterocarpaceae) and in fruits of Elaeis guineensis (Palmae) .
