Diagnosis. Thorax and legs yellow. Mesopleuron with hairs. Scutellum with 4 bristles. Vein Sc runs to R1.Abdominal tergites 2-6 part yellow part brown. Halteres brown.

Female. Frons as Fig. 51. Postpedicels with SPS vesicles ( Fig. 52). Palps and proboscis as Fig. 53. Side of thorax as Fig. 54. Scutellum with 4 bristles. Abdomen as Fig. 55, the venter with small hairs on segments 3-5 but long bristles on segment 6. Tergite 6 as Fig. 56. Tergite 7 to cerci as Fig. 57. Sternite 7 as Fig. 58. Dufour’s crop mechanism as Fig. 59. Front tarsus ( Fig. 60) with a near dorsal palisade on segments 1-5. Mid tibia as Fig. 61. Hind femur as Fig. 62. Wing ( Fig. 63) 1.89 mm long. Costal index 0.49. Costal ratios 6.56/4.10/1. Sc runs to R1. Costal cilia 0.08 mm long. No hair at base of vein 3. With 5 axillary bristles, the longest being 0.11 mm long. Halteres brown.

Material examined. IRAN • 1 ♀; Esfahan province, Mobarakeh, Arazi ; 32.4036°N, 51.6097 E; alt. 1646 m a.s.l.; 14 Sep. 2022; J. Karimzadeh leg.; reared from larvae of Spodoptera exigua feeding on cauliflower; UCMZ, 26–97; deposited in UCMZ (Cambridge, GoogleMaps UK).
