Diagnosis. Labium montivagum can be distinguished from other species of the genera by the following combination of characters: antenna with more than 35 flagellomeres; face and clypeus scarcely setose, in lateral view in the same plane; clypeal sulcus slightly insinuated; mesonotum shiny, smooth, or finely punctate; area dentipara of propodeum without tooth, coarsely sculptured, the external margins smooth and shining; empodium of hind legs elongate, at least 2/3 the length of the tarsal claws ( Fig. 3E View FIGURE 3 , arrows); vein 2 m-cu abruptly angulate. Mesonotum without black lateral stripes, mesopleuron orange, anterodorsally black with two big close white cream marks, hind femora orange, blackish proximally and distally, and tergite I black, except at apex.
