Remarks. Species of this subtribe are characterized by the presence of timbal covers extending anteriorly from tergite 2 exposing part of the timbal rather than a curled ridge on the posterior timbal cavity completely exposing the timbal ( Sanborn 2018). The presence of timbal covers concealing part of the timbal places Heatharia n. gen. in the Zammarina along with Chinaria .
