Type locality: Brazil, Rio de Janeiro, Maromba, Itatiaia , 1100 m.
Syntype ♀ with labels: (1) handwritten on white paper: “ Paratype | Lindner | 1935 [in vertical position]”; (2) handwritten on white paper: “Anopistho- | crania | zonata | Lind. [Lindner]”; (3) printed with handwritten inscriptions on white paper: “RIO [State of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil] | L.T.F. col. 1 99 3 | Repreza [Represa] Camorim ”; (4) printed on white paper: “8.085”.
Condition of type: good.
Additional note: the second female syntype is in the SMNS collection. This genus is probably a synonym junior of Rhingiopsis Röder (Martin Hauser, pers. comm), but we are not formalizing this action until a proper detailed study be done.
