Leptochilus (Lionotulus) crassiceps (Kostylev, 1940) View in CoL
Odynerus crassiceps Kostylev, 1940b: 37 , ♀ ♁ (type locality: “Kechi, env. d’Askhabad, Turkomanie” [ Turkmenistan]). Leptochilus flavicornis Giordani Soika, 1970: 68–69 View in CoL , ♀ (type locality: “ Turkmenistan: Tedshen, Tugai”), syn. nov.
Material examined. Qashqadaryo Region: Muborak District , 8 km NW Muborak, 39°20′30″N, 65°05′33″E, 16.V.2015, 1 ♀, leg. K.S. GoogleMaps
Distribution. Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan.
Remarks. Giordani Soika (1970) described L. flavicornis as a species closely related to L. gemmeus (Giordani Soika, 1941) but he did not compare his new species with Central Asian taxa. Examination of photographs of the holotype of L. flavicornis revealed that this taxon is conspecific with L. crassiceps .
