Distribution.

Palaearctic Region: China (Fujian, Guangdong, Guangxi, Guizhou, Hainan, Henan, Hong Kong, Hunan, Jiangxi, Shaanxi, Sichuan, Xizang, Yunnan, Zhejiang); India (Sikkim) ( Yiu 2009; Lin and Yang 2019; Danilevsky 2020). Oriental Region: Laos; Myanmar; Vietnam ( Kurihara 2009).

Remarks.

This species is rather scarce in Macau, having been observed only three times and only in mid spring. Adults are active during daytime and range in total length 14-18 mm and 2.5-4 mm in maximum width. The only larval host plant reported so far for this species is Sassafras tzumu ( Hua 2002).
