Distribution: Arizona ( USA) to Nicaragua.

Conservation: IUCN 2003 and IUCN / SSC Action Plan (2001) – Lower Risk (nt).

Discussion: Does not include mederai , which has been transferred to dabbenei ( Koopman, 1993) .
