7. Coloana recta Cao & Zhang View in CoL sp. nov.
(Fig. 7)
Description. Holotype with anterior dorsum tenne, crescent patches sordid pale, frontoclypeal area and anteclypeus light tenne, gena and lorum pale. Paratype (removed from alcohol) lighter than holotyoe, yellowishbrown, crescent patches indistinct.
Male 2S abdominal apodemes (Fig. 7i) relatively narrow, exceeding anterior margin of 4th sternite.
Pygofer dorsal appendage (Fig. 7a) short and thin, not reached hind margin of pygofer side, tapering towards apex, straightly directed caudad, weakly sclerotized. Subgenital plate (Figs 7a, c) curved dorsad distinctly in lateral view, much longer than style. Style (Fig. 7d, e) with apical part less expanded, bent laterad and dorsad. Aedeagal shaft (Fig. 7g, h) with basal part parallel-sided, broader than apical part, curved dorsad sharply, forming distinct corner and atrium at 1/3 form base, apical 2/3 almost equal in thickness except the narrow tip, apical process long, slightly curved caudad terminally; dorsal apodeme rudimentary, preatrium long, atrial rim surrounded by membrane.
Measurement. Length male 4.00mm.
Material examined. Holotype: ♂, China, Yunnan Prov., Jinghong, Bubeng, light trap, 20 v 2012, coll. Cao Yanghui. Paratype: 1♂, Thailand, Chiang Mai, Doi Inthanon NP, Vachirathan Fall, 18°32.31'N, 98°36.048'E, 700m, Malaise trap, 15–22 iv 2007, coll. Y. Areeluck.
Deposition. Holotype is deposited in Entomological Museum, NWAFU, Yangling, China; paratype in QSBG, Chiang Mai, Thailand.
Remarks. The new species resembles C. latiprocessa sp. n., but the pygofer side is longer, the pygofer dorsal appendage is thinner and extremely straight, the style has the apical part bent obviously both in dorsal and lateral view, the aedeagal shaft has a longer and parallel-sided basal part (from base to corner), without subapical fingerlike processes, the dorsal apodeme is rudimentary, and the preatrium is well developed.
Etymology. The specific name is derived from the Latin word “ rectus ”, referring to the extremely straight pygofer dorsal appendage.
