Description. Anterior dorsum, frontoclypeal area and anteclypeus light brown, gena and lorum sordid pale, crescent patches sordid yellowish.
Male 2S abdominal apodemes ( Fig. 4 View FIGURE 4 f) extended to midlength of 4th sternite.
Pygofer dorsal appendage ( Fig. 4 View FIGURE 4 a) short and very thin, not reached hind margin of pygofer side, almost with even thickness, straightly directed caudad. Subgenital plate ( Fig. 4 View FIGURE 4 b) slightly curved dorsad in lateral view, almost equal in length with style. Style ( Fig. 4 View FIGURE 4 c) with apical part slightly bent laterad. Aedeagal shaft ( Fig. 4 View FIGURE 4 e) almost equal in thickness from base, apical processes relatively long and broad; dorsal apodeme and preatrium approximately with equal length and width in lateral view.
Measurement. length male 4.37mm, female 4.58mm.
Material examined. Holotype: ♂, China, Hainan Prov., Mt. Bawang, light trap, 25 v 1983, coll. Zhang Yalin. Paratypes: 4♀, same data as holotype.
Deposition. Entomological Museum, NWAFU, Yangling, China.
Remarks. The new species is similar to C. bifurcata Sohi & Mann , but can be distinguished by the moderately curved aedeagal shaft with the apical process curved downward at a right angle to the shaft, and the smaller dorsal apodeme.
Etymology. This new species is named for its type locality “Hainan”.
