Description:— Ryvarden & Gilbertson (1994).

Distribution:— Circumglobal including Southeastern U.S., Arizona and Central America ( Gilbertson & Ryvarden 1987). In Brazil known from Pará ( Sotão et al. 2008), Paraná, Rio Grande do Sul, São Paulo and Santa Catarina States ( Gugliotta et al. 2013). This is the first record from Amapá, Amazonas and Roraima States.

Ecology:— Living hardwoods and dead trees ( Ryvarden & Gilbertson 1994). This species has been reported by Silveira & Guerrero (1989) on living Araucaria angustifolia (Bertol.) Kuntze.

Taxonomic remarks:— This species is distinguished from other species in the genus by its large, globose to subglobose basidiospores, 7–10(–11) × 6.5–9(–10) µm.

Description:— Ryvarden & Gilbertson (1994) and Westphalen & Silveira (2012)

Distribution:— Belize ( Ryvarden 2007), Brazil and Costa Rica (Westphalen & Silveira 2012). In Brazil, known from Rio Grande do Sul State (Westphalen & Silveira 2012). This is the first record from the Brazilian Amazonia.

Ecology:— On dead hardwoods ( Ryvarden 2007).

Taxonomic remarks:— Rigidoporus undatus is recognized by its resupinate basidiomata, isabelline to beige pore surface and globose basidiospores (5–6 µm).
