Distribution. Western Atlantic— USA (Florida), Antilles, Panama, and Brazil ( Amapá, Pernambuco, São Paulo) ( Manning & Heard 1986; Botter-Carvalho et al. 1995; Melo 1999; Robles et al. 2020).
Remarks. Previous records from the coast of São Paulo include São Sebastião ( Mantelatto et al. 2018; Robles et al. 2020). Sequences accession number (GenBank): CCDB 5516—16S ( MN237799 View Materials ), COI ( MF490065 View Materials ) ( Mantelatto et al. 2018; Robles et al. 2020).
