Broun considered that his nominal taxa differed from each other and from I. rhesus View in CoL by size, breadth, rostral carinae, the degree to which the pronotal disc was uneven, and the prolongation of the sutural tubercle. These characters are all variable between individuals; and breadth and a prolonged sutural tubercle are sexual differences.
