Ephialtes elongates Uchida, 1928: 86 . Type: female; TD: HU.

Diagnosis. Body 31 mm; fore wing 22 mm; ovipositor 77 mm long.

Black. Palpi and tegula yellow. All coxae black; remainder of legs yellow; fore femur with black spot in ventral part. Antenna with 41 flagellomeres.

Face finely punctate and convex medially. Frons with wrinkles. Malar space 0.3 × as long as mandible base. Occiput sparsely punctate and matt. Pronotum with wrinkles on ventral area. Speculum weakly convex and shiny; mesopleural pit weakly present. Mesoscutellum elongated. Propodeum without carina or wrinkles and convex; area postero-externa part of propodeum depression and glabrous. Petiole with spiracle before the middle of petiole.

Material examined. [ South Korea] [CN]: 1 ♀, Sikjangsan, 24.v.2001, H.J.Ahn.

Distribution. South Korea (new record), Japan, Russia (Khabarovsk Kray) ( Yu et al., 2012).

Region. Eastern Palaearctic.
