TYPE LOCALITY: Colombia .

DISTRIBUTION: Colombia, montane areas of the eastern cordillera of Andes between 800 and 2,000 m elevation ( Eisenberg, 1989).

STATUS: Unknown.

SYNONYMS: epixanthus, sneiderni (see comment under Sphiggurus ).
