Material examined (2♂♂). 1♂ ( CCCC), CHINA: Guangxi, Liuzhou City, Rongshui County, Mount Jiuwanshan , 1000m, 2015. VIII.9–10, Yu-Tang Wang leg. ; 1♂ ( MZUF), C VIETNAM: Kon Tum Province, surroundings Kon Plong , 1120m 14°37,350′ N 108°17,651′ E leg. L. Bartolozzi, S. Bambi, A. Bandinelli, V. Sbordoni - 4–7.V.2016 (Mag. 3078) (examined according to photos by Carsten Zorn) GoogleMaps .
Remarks. The specimen from China and central Vietnam matches the original description and figures by Wada (2003). Hitherto, the female of P. sawadai remains unknown.
Distribution. Vietnam: Vĩnh Phú, Kon Tum (new record); China (new record): Guangxi.
