Type material. MCZR–M–5801 —1 aggregate “ Bivonia serpuloides Monts Aci –trezza (Aradas) figurata nella tabella VII”.

Type locality. Described from Acitrezza ( Sicily).

Remarks. Recorded by MolluscaBase (2018) as taxon inquirendum. According to the type material found it belongs to Thylacodes arenarius (Linnaeus, 1758) [ new synonymy].
