Tenucephalus pusillus Linnavuori & DeLong View in CoL
( Figs. 10 View FIGUIRE 10 , 78 View FIGUIRE 78 )
Tenucephalus pusillus Linnavuori & DeLong, 1978: 196 View in CoL , 213–214 [original description, illustration, morphology]; Zanol 2006: 100 [catalogue]; Zahniser, 2007 [online catalogue]; Freytag & Gaiani, 2017 [online catalogue]
Diagnosis. This species is known only from three female specimens. Because the male has not been described, the identity of the species is somewhat obscure, but females may be identified by a combination of the typical color pattern, size, shape of sternite VII, and geographic distribution. Female, 4.0 mm.
Material examined. 1♀ paratype, PANAMA: Las Cumbres, VI – VIII-1973, H. Wolda [ OSUC] .
Distribution. The species is known only from the type locality of Las Cumbres, north of Panama City, Panama.
Remarks. Males will need to be associated with the currently described females in order to clarify the identity of this species.
