Type locality: British Guiana [ Guyana], Bartica, ii.1913, leg. Parish. Type specimens: Holotype ♂, BMNH.

Distribution: Brazil (Meyrick 1936: 34), Guyana (Meyrick 1915b: 233). Larval hostplant(s): Malvaceae : Theobroma cacao L. (Meyrick 1936: 34).
