"Habitat in Lusitania, Hispania." RCN: 5213.

Lectotype ( López González in Anales Jard. Bot. Madrid 39: 49, f. 1. 1982): Löfling 26, Herb. Linn. No. 892.27, left specimen ( LINN) .

Current name: Genista lusitanica L. View in CoL ( Fabaceae : Faboideae ).

Note: Lacaita (in J. Bot. 67: 199-200. 1929) believed that this name was based entirely on Clusius’ plate but this is incorrect, as demonstrated by López González.
