Distribution of Cryptoperla in China

Most Cryptoperla species from China were proposed using old locality names which are not currently used. The type localities of all Chinese Cryptoperla species are updated and depicted on Fig. 12 . The new species described in this study represents the first member of Cryptoperla from Zhejiang Province. The distribution of Chinese Cryp- toperla species is restricted to the southern areas and exhibits a disjunctive pattern. A potentially high biodiversity of Cryptoperla may be expected in the southeastern provinces of China where no Cryptoperla have been previously reported.

Holotype and paratypes: Sichuan Province (Szechuan), Dujiangyan City (Kuanshien), Liuhaisi Temple (Liu Ngai Si) ; Sichuan Province (Szechuan), Pengzhou City, Bailuding (Beh Luh Din); Sichuan Province (Szechuan), Wenchuan County, Mushangzhai Village (Mu Sang Tsai) .
