VERACRUZ: Laguna Escondida: Lithobates vaillanti ( Pérez-Ponce de León et al., 2000; Razo-Mendivil et al., 1999; Paredes- Calderón et al., 2004; Razo-Mendivil et al., 2004); Estación de Biología Los Tuxtlas: Lithobates berlandieri , Lithobates vaillanti ( Guillén-Hernández et al., 2000) .

Specimens deposited: BM(NH) (2004.3.3.2) (P), CNHE (4670-72) (H, P), USNPC (39040) (P).

Notes: Material recorded as Glypthelmins californiensis ( Guillén-Hernández et al., 2000) , and redetermined as G. facioi ( Razo-Mendivil et al., 1999) . Specimens from Laguna Escondida were identified as G. facioi ( Razo-Mendivil et al., 1999; Pérez-Ponce de León et al., 2000; Paredes-Calderón et al., 2004), and transferred to Glypthelmins tuxtlasensis ( Razo-Mendivil et al., 2004) .
