Type:— Taiwan Island: Nantou Hsien , Wanghsiang, 17 December 1984, J.-L.Tsai T10379a-d ( TCF) .
Notes: This nothospecies is a hybrid between Glaphyropteridopsis erubescens (Wallich ex Hooker 1863: 236) Ching (1963: 320) and Pseudocyclosorus esquirolii ( Christ 1907: 144–145) Ching (1963: 324) . This hybrid is an allotetraploid with 72 bivalent chromosomes, which has intermediate morphology of the parents ( Shieh & Tsai 1987).
Distribution: Taiwan Island.
