Etymology. Named after the similarity with Hemeroscopus .
Diagnosis. Hindwing characters only: small size (ca. 26 mm long); one antennal crossvein between Ax1 and Ax2; pterostigma well braced and covering three cells; anal loop transversely elongate and nine celled; Rsp1 absent; CuAa with three well-defined posterior branches; area between RP 3/4 and MA narrow, with only one row of cells near wing margin; two rows of cells in postdiscoidal area before midfork; area between MP and CuAa narrow, with only one row of cells below discoidal triangle.
