Genus Trirhabda LeConte, 1865 View in CoL
Trirhabda LeConte, 1865: 219 View in CoL (type species Trirhabda nitidicollis LeConte, 1865 , by subsequent designation of Barber in Blake 1931).
Remarks
This genus contains 29 described species, occurring from Canada to Guatemala. Although the elytra are pubescent, the setae are easily overlooked in some species. The following key allows for correct identification of the genus, even if the elytra are interpreted as being asetose. See Fig. 15 View Figs 10–18 for a habitus illustration. Blake (1931), Wilcox (1965), and Hogue (1970) each provided useful keys for species identification, although a few species were missing in each instance.
