Diagnosis. Males of S. fuscimana ( Fig. 151 View FIGURES 150 – 155. S ) are similar to those of S. sciosciae ( Fig. 178 View FIGURES 174 – 179. S ) by the forked DEA, but are easily recognized by the distal branch of this fork more developed than the proximal one. Females can be recognized by the wide, longitudinal dark brown stripe on dorsal abdomen with an anterior narrow light yellow stripe ( Fig. 153 View FIGURES 150 – 155. S ).
Description. Male (IBSP 75395). Total length: 3.04. Carapace orange, 1.52 long, 1.00 wide, 0.71 high ( Fig. 150 View FIGURES 150 – 155. S ). Ocular quadrangle 0.94 long. Anterior eye row 1.00 wide and posterior 0.90 wide. Palp yellow ( Figs 151‒152 View FIGURES 150 – 155. S ); RTA elongate, RvTA triangular, poorly developed, and small squared ITA; embolus stout with spiky dorsal projections, DEA forked. Legs 1423, yellow, with no dark stripes. Length of femur: I 1.31, II 0.90, III 0.92, IV 1.27; patella + tibia: I 1.75, II 1.04, III 0.92, IV 1.38; metatarsus + tarsus: I 1.17, II 0.94, III 0.99, IV 1.31. Spination on ventral tibia I: 2-0-2-2. Abdomen light yellow, dorsally with two brown longitudinal stripes interrupted in the middle ( Fig 150 View FIGURES 150 – 155. S ); ventrally light brown with a longitudinal brown stripe.
Female (IBSP 75420). Total length: 3.98. Carapace orange, 1.66 long, 1.13 wide, 0.74 high. Ocular quadrangle 1.00 long. Anterior eye row 1.12 wide and posterior 1.06 wide ( Fig. 153 View FIGURES 150 – 155. S ). Legs 1423, yellow, only I and IV with dark longitudinal stripes. Length of femur: I 1.06, II 0.77, III 0.69, IV 1.05; patella + tibia: I 1.48, II 0.96, III 0.78, IV 1.21; metatarsus + tarsus: I 1.06, II 0.85, III 0.92, IV 1.17. Spination as in male. Abdomen as in male, with color pattern more developed ( Fig 153 View FIGURES 150 – 155. S ); ventrally cream-colored. Epigyne as in Figs 154‒155 View FIGURES 150 – 155. S .
