Type species
Perma chalcogramma Bates, 1887 (original designation).
Pseudoperma View in CoL differs from Onocephala Sturm, 1843 View in CoL and Stethoperma Lameere, 1884 View in CoL in having the antennal tubercles widely separated and slightly elevated; antennae shorter, in female almost subequal to body length; and scape and third antennomere subequal in length in both sexes; whereas Onocephala View in CoL has the antennal tubercles prominent, contiguous; antennae about twice as long as body in males, 1.3 times body length in females; and antennomere III slightly longer than scape in females, and distinctly longer in males. Stethoperma View in CoL has the antennal tubercles prominent, subapproximate, dentate at apex; antennae 1.6 times body length in males and 1.3 times in females; and antennomere III distinctly longer than scape in both sexes.
