Distribution: Neotropical.

Records in Ecuador: Zamora Chinchipe ( San Francisco Biological Reserve ) and Loja (andean mountain region of the Loja valley).

Habitat: Leaf litter of Graffenrieda emarginata . Soil and litter alder ( Alnus acuminata ).
