Diagnosis. Yellow species, well characterized by its puncto-striate face and a transverse carina on the clypeus.
Description. FEMALE (7 specimens). L: 12.6, 12.5 (11.5–13.4).
Head. Distinctly constricted behind eyes. Temples short and rounded Frons smooth centrally. Face coarsely punctate, the punctures confluent, forming transverse wrinkles. Clypeus subtriangular (Ci = 1.7); protruding apical lobe separated from the base by a transverse carina. Labrum clearly distinct below the clypeal lobe. Malar space short (MLMi = 0.5). Mandibles subtriangular with two little blunt teeth. Maxillary and labial palpi with five and four segments respectively. Antenna with 63–64 flagellomeres.
Mesosoma . Mesonotum and all pleurae deeply and sparsely punctate. Space between punctures smooth. Propodeal carination strong: anterior and posterior transverse carinae stout with distinct lateral apophyses, area basalis short and transverse, area superomedia with wavy lateral carinae, area petiolaris large. Tarsal claws basally pectinate.
Metasoma. Matt, with minute sparses punctures and fine adpressed orange hairs. Glymma shallow, hardly distinct. Tergite II twice as long as wide, the following tergites compressed. Ovipositor short (OTi = 0.7).
Color. Overall fulvous with flagellum brown. Wings slightly infuscate, pterostigma testaceous.
MALE. Unknown.
Etymology. Euphonic reference to the Gamour agroecological project currently running in Reunion.
Distribution records. Madagascar (Toamasina province).

PARATYPES 4ƤƤ ( MNHN EY 3554–3557), same locality, October 1931, May 1936, March and April 1937. Good conditions; 1Ƥ ( MNHN EY 3556) same locality, same date. Antennae missing; 1Ƥ ( BMNH) same locality, February 1931; 1Ƥ ( CAS), same locality, May, 1936.
