Lectotype (Meikle, Fl. Cyprus 2: 1750. 1985): Scopoli 109, Herb. Linn. No. 86.3 ( LINN) .

Current name: Melica minuta L. View in CoL ( Poaceae ).

Note: Although Kerguélen (in Lejeunia, n.s., 75: 211. 1975) stated "Type: ...LINN", this is not accepted as a formal typification, for the reasons explained by Cafferty & al. (in Taxon 49: 240. 2000).
