Lectotype (Howard, Fl. Lesser Antilles 4: 582. 1988): Herb. Hermann 2: 56, No. 161 (BM-000594618).

Current name: Azadirachta indica A. Juss. (Meliaceae).

Note: Siddiqi (in Jafri & El-Gadi, Fl. Libya 93: 2. 1983) wrongly indicated material in Herb. Hermann 1: 10 (BM) as type, evidently confusing this name with M. azedarach L.
